The landscape design was then complemented by detailed structural design of a series of terraced retaining walls, made of locally sourced natural stone ensuring stability and soil retention but also blending harmoniously into the existing landscape. The stone was earthy and rich, harmonising beautifully with the other flora, which made for a delightful final seamless look happy client. Including the walls, we build a flagstone path that snaked over the beds, filled with a mix of perennials and ornamental grasses chosen for season-long appeal and minimal maintenance. Atop the terrace, a custom-built wood pergola provides shaded escape for family gatherings and a visual accent for the terrace. To combat concerns associated with drainage common in hillside properties, our group installed a functional irrigation system to guarantee that water is diverted at all times and there is no pooling. It will safeguard the hardscape's integrity and help plant thrive through the seasons.
