Showcases our quality landscaping and attention to detail; a great example of what we do in the Amawalk, Baldwin Place & surrounding areas! The homeowner wanted to refresh the curb appeal of their front exterior with a welcoming entry way that would better fit the surrounding landscape. The first step was evaluating the old, cracked-up driveway then come up with a plan for how best to incorporate durable materials and aesthetics! On the driveway, we went with permeable pavers to ensure that we can drain the water effectively but ultimately gain beautiful curb appeal. Our Delicate pattern serves to both function & look beautiful. At the same time, we had removed old shrubs from their front lawn and restored the area with colorful, regionally appropriate native plants. These low maintenance plants at the same time not only beautify the area but also play their part in local wildlife and create balance. We carefully combined ornamental grasses and colorful perennials to provide seasonal interest. The primary difficulty we faced was the unsurfaced ground and relatively small space around the site. We needed to use all of the tricks in our bag to overcome these hurdles but used state-of-the-art equipment and various methods to make the terrain fair and install the hardscape features in a seamless manner. With intentional drainage installed, the new driveway will endure a heavy rain and eliminate future washouts. The end result delighted this homewncer, their driveway is a welcoming space now with a lush and vibrant lawn that adds value and visual appeal to their home!
