Situated in the photogenic part of Westchester, we faced a task reclaiming a large home plot while balancing the untouched rustic landscape. The space included a rich mixture of native plantings, intricate stone pathways and a custom built patio that serves as the focal point for outdoor entertainment. Utilizing high quality materials such as natural bluestone and river rock sourced from a 100 mile radius, our products are as eco-friendly as they are beautiful. The lush garden features a mix of perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs that provide yearlong interest and a habitat to support local wildlife by our landscape architects. The item of most conundrum was the land of the property itself; sloped, requiring terraced levels for the areas in which to plant and gather for entertainment purposes. Our team used professional grading techniques, and built retaining walls, which both stabilize the earth while also increasing visual interest in the landscape. Our final outcome was this stunning outdoor space that absolutely blew our client away. This new landscape was organized in a way that not only beautified the curb appeal of the property, it also gave family and friends their own little getaway. From the outset, we realised that our focus on sustainable practices would not only create a beautiful landscape but a thriving ecosystem, and as such, our attention to detail during construction was meticulous.
