Sunflower Drive by Martino Landscape Contractors Inc. This , d 'Sunflower Drive' is located in the beautiful town of Yorktown Heights and is an excellent representation of the artistry of Martino Landscape Contractors Inc. Our large scale landscaping converting a standard garden into a living space full of color and purpose. The took shape only after a detailed site analysis, during which our team discovered the peculiar topography and soil conditions on site. The challenge lay in the land that was not level, so careful grading was needed before any landscaping features could be built. We used the highest quality native plants and local materials to set a beautiful native plant palette, colourful sunflowers, ornamental grasses and perennials for a sustainable year-round palette. This included a custom-cut stone pathway secured with locally-sourced bluestone that leads visitors through the verdant landscape, as well as carefully placed LED lights to highlight the space in the evening. Then we also used a beautiful patio set that includes the pavers and also comfort furniture so you can sit and celebrate in the midst of nature. It was an incredible play that met (and then some) with the visions of the client. The bright colors of the vegetation and the manicured hardscaping made an alluring space that truly captures the soul of outdoor living. The homeowner was absolutely thrilled with the job and our thorough attention to detail and care that we had getting their outdoor space into a place they can truly call home.
