| Rocky Mountain Water Feature By Breaking Ground Breaking Ground took an average backyard in the center of Omaha and turned it into a stunning oasis that brings together both natural beauty and contemporary design in the form of their , the 'Rocky Mountain Water Feature. Another example of our work, serving the communities of Arlington, Bennington, Elkhorn, Fremont, and beyond. At the heart of this beautiful landscape is an elaborate water feature designed to replicate the gentle streams of the Rocky Mountains. Using natural stone harvested from local quarries our crews built a multi-tier waterfall that spills over smooth boulders making a calming sound that takes homeowners away to paradise. It drizzles into a clear pond framed by native plantings that open opportunities for local biodiversity while adding aesthetic value to the water itself. The site was another major hurdle for the , as the property slopes sharply. Our talented landscapers cleverly set the water feature in the landscape, taking advantage of the natural topography, making it stable yet organic. Carefully positioned boulders make this design look like it's always been there, but that required knowledge and skill. To improve the feature even more, we installed energy efficient LED lights that can shine into the water to brighten the area during the night and adds a magical atmosphere to any evening event. With reclaimed wood seating areas added to encourage family and friends to take a seat and use the surroundings as their personal retreat. The client was happy with the result. The 'Rocky Mountain Water Feature' was not only visually pleasing but also created a space for them to escape outside, unwind, and meditate on life. Quality of materials and craftsmanship is the foundation behind all Breaking Ground Enterprises s, but when combined with an out-of-the-box solution to unrealistic landscaping expectations, the end result is the envy of clients and their guests alike.
