Miami Beach Dockside Pool by: David Font Design At the stunning Dockside Pool, a by David Font Design, in the heart of Miami Beach, you can truly see how modern landscaping can combine luxury and nature. The was to redesign an outdoor area to ensure that even if it is really an elegant and serene oasis, this oasis still complement its surrounding waterfront views. The included a custom pool that was framed with lush, tropical landscaping with native palms, ornamental grasses and non-stop flowering plants that thrive throughout the South Florida growing region. For the aesthetics, we incorporated quality materials like natural stone pavers and low-maintenance fibre-composite decking for beauty and durability. The unique topography of the site coupled with its proximity to the water was one of the hurdles experienced on this . We expertly overcome these challenges by adding a functional drainage to ensure that the main pool is protected form all these while avoiding disruption of the overall landscape around it. This gave thought that, as it does rain a lot in Miami, the design soon wouldn't be just a nice view but practical functionality as well. The outcome is a dockside sanctuary striking the balance between client vision and lifestyle. A combination of leisure and recreation, the space features a comfortable cabana, an outside kitchen and plentiful lounging areas, all framed in carefully selected landscaping. Result 1: Client was so happy with the transformation and appreciated how seamlessly the pool blended with the landscaping and how this area has become one of the favored gathering places for the family and friends of this particular client.
