About This Project

St. Louis County Backyard Oasis Creating a backyard sanctuary is no easy task, but Hackman Lawn & Landscape took on the challenge with excitement and experience for our latest St. Louis County ! We provided the homeowners with just what they were after a beautifully crafted landscape to compliment their home, relax and entertain. The focus of the was the creation of a custom flagstone patio (local stone). It is a consequent material that adds an aesthetic appeal to the surface while also blending well with its natural habitat giving the owners the most desirable space for outdoors to enjoy time with their family and the loved ones. To finish with the vibe we added a natural boulder fire pit to spend evenings talking under the stars next to the fire. The transformation was not without its challenges, as our team continued to tackle uneven terrain and address existing drainage problems. Our talented landscape architects figured out a full drainage design with French drains and swales to facilitate water runoff without compromising the landscape. This not only solved the previous water problems, but would help keep the new features healthy for decades. We also planted a spectrum of native plants, such as colorful perennials and ornamental grasses that flourish in that climate, to create a complete oasis. These varieties provided additional colors and textures to the garden while also attracting pollinators, which contributed to the ecological value of the garden. The end result was nothing less than amazing. With an ideal balance between functionality and beauty the clients were elated! The Backyard Oasis is dedicated to the high-quality craftsmanship of Hackman Lawn & Landscape and the landscapes that we love to create for our customers to enjoy for many years to come! From morning coffee to weekend barbecues, this now represents the perfect escape in St. Louis County.
