About This Project

Herrick Retreat Completion by Brookwood Landscape and Stonework Inc. Set in Beverly Cove, the Herrick Retreat took an ordinary backyard and turned it into an incredible outdoor oasis. Brookwood Landscape and Stonework Inc. accepted the challenge to develop a multi-functional area that incorporates nature and all the luxury of comfortable exterior spaces. The included a large natural stone patio painstakingly laid with local bluestone for an amazing gathering and relaxation space. Native plant gardens were incorporated around the patio that will develop in the local weather conditions, serve as pollinator attracters, encourage biodiversity, and provide interest throughout the year. The custom built fire pit made out of reclaimed granite stone was one of the most impressive aspects of the supplying a cozy feature to gather around with friends and family in the evenings. The skilled craftsmen at Brookwood faced the challenge of making the fire pit harmonize with the existing topography of the site along the slope. Importance was placed on detail; durable, green materials were used to employ the aesthetic capacity and quality of the . Ornamental trees grew to provide privacy screens and spaces for interest in the area. After several weeks of hard work, the Herrick Retreat will stand as an example of the dedication of Brookwood Landscape and Stonework Inc. to quality and their client's wishes. The final product was incredible and created serenity for the client that will provide an escape for relaxation and interaction with others.
