About This Project

Armstrong Memorial Brookwood Landscape and Stonework Inc. is proud to present the Armstrong Memorial , a tremendous tribute that enriches the landscape of the surrounding community. The installation is situated in the center of our service area, and was designed with great care to honor a beloved figure who lived in the community by offering a place to reflect. Our team was tasked with creating a landscape that reflected and embraced the existing natural landscape. We chose native plant species to ensure sustainability and low maintenance to honor the memorial's history. We designed the layout of the stone paths to allow visitors to wander and easily navigate the memorial landscape. Locally quarried granite built the stone pathways, adding aesthetic appeal while supporting sustainability principles. At the center of the memorial is a stone bench for contemplation and remembrance, surrounded by a garden of perennials and seasonal flowering plants to provide color and life to the garden. Decorative boulders and a soft flowing water feature contribute to the peacefulness of the garden, and were printed in visually pleasing directions to create pleasant sounds and distract from distasteful noises in the background. From the start of the to the finish, we concentrated on quality of craft and . We took care in installing the irrigation for the durable landscape. Our experienced team worked around challenging topography and soil conditions. The memorial is a stunning dedication to the memorial's sake, and provides a blank canvas for contemplation to all visitors. Since being completed, the Armstrong Memorial has delighted the client and visitors alike as a local landmark to reflect. Brookwood Landscape and Stonework is proud to have played a role in the creation of this community space for years into the future.
