For instance, The Recent s Seattle Penthouse Deck Folia Horticultural + Design We are excited to share one of our latest s: a spectacular Seattle penthouse deck that perfectly demonstrates our commitment to the best quality landscape + garden solutions. High above the bustling metropolis, this outdoor sanctuary is a perfect blend of clean lines and natural beauty, bringing a tranquil escape to our clients. To begin with, the entailed a careful analysis of the existing space, which proves challenging due to the height and the limited way to access the hillside land. Our team adeptly tackled these challenges by employing both lightweight materials and strong materials that seamlessly complement the deck structure while adding a depth of aesthetics. We used sustainably harvested hardwood deckin, which is easy-maintenance and will last a long time. At the heart of the design is a large, mixed planting that provides all-year colour and texture. A combination of local native plants and hardy perennials, selected for the Pacific Northwest and preferring low-maintenance conditions. Planters with lush ferns and ornamental grasses are used to carve out visual interest and create privacy while still having an unobscured view of the skyline. For ambience, we installed a custom cascading water feature, which you can enjoy listening to as it fills the space with tranquility. To ensure they could continue to use their penthouse deck (and enjoy the sunsets) well into the evening, elegant outdoor lighting was introduced to illumine the area after dark. The end product is a polished yet warm space that really speaks to the lifestyle and aesthetic of our client Now their outdoor space is ideal for either entertaining guests or just watching the sunset over the beautiful Seattle skyline in solitude with nature all around. We hope this exemplifies Folia Horticultural + Design ability to realize a landscape with global perspective and the art of creeping things beyond expectation in Ballard, Beacon Hill, Mercer Island and elsewhere.
