About This Project

Private Residence in Oconomowoc, WI In the beautiful landscape of Oconomowoc, WI, Breckenridge Design, Construction & Maintenance completed a landscaping that enhanced the outdoor living and connection to nature of a private residence. Our team devoted tremendous effort into creating a beautiful landscape that reinforces the natural beauty of the surroundings, our mission of quality and craftsmanship. The site featured an intentional layout of native plantings and beautiful hardscapes and outdoor living spaces. We selected an array of perennials and ornamental grasses with varying heights and bloom times throughout the seasons, ensuring interest year-round and ecological benefits. One of the central elements of our design was a beautiful stone patio built with locally sourced bluestone, offering a durable and stylish location for entertaining guests. During our time spent on the , we had to address the challenge of a sloped site, as the slope would collect water and create a pooling effect. As a solution, we designed and implemented a French drain system and implemented several retaining walls to address our drainage issue while enhancing the visual characteristics of the landscape. Our design includes ambient lighting, illuminating paths and garden beds, to create a warm atmosphere for gatherings in the evening. In the end, we created a stunning outdoor living space that met our client's expectations and more. The combination of functional spaces, beautiful stonework, and trees and shrubs enhanced the property's value while creating a tranquil setting for the clients and their friends and family. At Breckenridge Design, Construction & Maintenance, we are proud of the completed landscaping that captures the stunning beauty of Oconomowoc, and allows for enjoyable outdoor living spaces.
