The Peabody Residence Landscape by Inge Daniels Design LLC Inge Daniels Design LLC is proud to share the Peabody Residence landscape with you, a wonderful example of our attention to quality and creativity in our landscaping s. Located in Newton, this is a good example of what we can do to improve outdoor spaces in the greater Boston area, including Arlington, Brookline, and Wellesley. The idea for the Peabody landscape design was to create an inviting retreat for the family and a beautiful backdrop for entertaining family and friends, that would be both functional and beautiful. We set out to create a beautiful design based on the use of native plants for sustainability and to support ecological balance. We chose native plants that we thought would offer year-round color this included ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and shade loving shrubs that grew well here. The landscape was designed with a beautiful natural stone patio meant for eating al fresco and entertaining family and friends. The patio material is bluestone, a high-quality, durable, and timeless stone. We worked on a challenging site with uneven terrain and we addressed this by having the site graded and incorporated a tiered design in the plan to accommodate the slope and provide flat access. The is really defined and enhanced by a custom water featurea small pond with a cascading waterfall that adds a point of tranquility to the landscape. Not only did this element beneficiate the aesthetics of the , but it also created a natural habitat that increased biodiversity in the client's backyard.
