Newton Terraces Landscape by Inge Daniels Design LLC The Newton Terraces Landscape is one we at Inge Daniels Design LLC are thrilled to share. We transformed this outdoor space to redefine outdoor living in Newton. This was a complete landscape design and installation for numerous terrace levels that utilized the natural slop of the property to create an ideal balance of both function and aesthetics. We chose locally sourced bluestone for the terrace surfaces due to strength and durability, resulting in natural finished surfaces with an enduring appeal consistent with the property's surrounding context. While designing the tiers of the property we specified a variety native plant material to create engaging visual aspects while adding luxury and comfort. The use of ornamental grasses with flowering perennials and evergreen shrubbery not only added color year-round to the landscape but provides opportunities for biodiversity. One of the main challenges confronted on-site was the steepness of the property. Our team developed creative engineering of support with finished retaining wall systems integrated with natural stone to accommodate gravity. From a practical perspective, we included a detailed drainage system to manage rainfall flow effectively, controlling and preventing erosion and pooling water on the property. The end result of the landscape was stunning - very inviting to relax in. The clients can now entertain guests on tiered seating areas surrounded by greenery and blooms while enjoying views of their property. The Newton Terraces Landscape is evidence of quality craftsmanship in design developed by Inge Daniels Design LLC, and the clients were left thrilled with their new oasis outdoors.
