Custom Fire Pit At Pennella's Landscape Designs, LLC, we enjoy the opportunity to help transform outdoor spaces into beautiful retreats creating value for our clients. This lead us to our latest , the "Custom Fire Pit," that highlights our values of quality workmanship and design. This was built in the beautiful town of Montclair with the purpose of creating an area for to gather with the client's family and friends for a cozy night around a fire pit. The main component of this was building a fire pit that was crafted out of natural stone, collected from a local quarry. The structured nature of a fire pit offers comfort to gather around for family and friends, while the entire make-up of the fire pit blends into the surrounding landscape. The other seating area was created through custom bench seating made from weather-ready materials. This combined aesthetics and functionality for comfort and durability as the family enjoys this outdoor space over the coming years. The layout of the back yard was somewhat of a challenge. The design of outdoor spaces takes into consideration the layout of the land, especially if the land is not level. So, our dedicated team graded the area to create a level and solid sub-base to the fire pit and seating areas for safety and use. The other purpose of the fire pit location was to be under ambient lighting for evening socializing, so energy efficient LED lighting was installed to accent the stonework with a soft glow. The end result is the creation of a beautiful fire pit area that made the vision of the clients a reality while highlighting the beauty of the existing landscape. The combination of natural materials, careful planning and thoughtful finish created an inviting outdoor area that exceeded thus far in the expectation of the client's vision. The clients were so excited following the completion of the outdoor area. They have taken the opportunity for entertaining and created events outdoors in their back yard fire pit.
