Land Design, LLC in Conroe, Texas | Photography by Ryann Ford Combining extensive planning and followthrough to fulfill custom implementations for the client, all to match with the natural beauty of the land. Our site team was presented with a few challenges at Glenloch Farms, including varied topography and a wide range of existing vegetation. We also designed in features that creatively cut the land for drainage and visual appeal that worked in to the final design. We seamlessly bring the outdoors in with locally sourced native stone pathways, created by our talented artisans, using only the finest materials characteristic with the area terrain. The highlights include an outdoor living space custom designed with a stone fire pit and seating for families to spend time together. Supplementing by colourful flower beds and trees, where they belong, under the green roof to keep shady and avoid neighbours to see our beauties in the nude. A water feature where a gentle pond now sits enhances the sight to behold as well as welcomes native wildlife thereby contributing to biodiversity. We chose to plant drought-tolerant plants that do well in the Texas climate to complement the landscape and also be sustainable and low maintenance. An array of color occurred seasonally, all due to the detail we were able to present the client and their guests. The end result is a stunning outdoor paradise that combines practicality with beauty.
