E.L.I. land design, LLC. is a family business, established in 1997 when Chris K Eiseman and a single truck set out to work hard with plants. Today E.L.I. is a design forward firm comprised of registered landscape architects and professional landscape installers collaborating with our clients to deliver creative design build landscape solutions. We give our clients custom, durable, and well built landscapes that are designed to last year in and year out. Located in The Woodlands, TX, E.L.I. land design enables us to work side-by-side with our property owners and offer unparalleled, hands-on attention to each project. Our extensive landscape services give property owners works of art in nature. We are quick, efficient, and ready to go over your project in more detail. Raised in California, Chris then relocated to Texas, where his family made sure to plant roots. His father was a master carpenter, his mother a florist, so he was hardly ever far from plants and construction as a child – and I guess you could say not much has changed. Chris entered the landscape field at the age of 10 by doing grass cutting and gardening around the local area. Those early years were mutually educational, as he learned the importance of quality work; and lessons in customer service took root as well. In the spring of 1997, at the age of 20, Chris founded E.L.I. land design and soon recognized he wanted E.L.I. to be different than every other landscape company. And to accomplish that he went to Texas A&M's College of Architecture. Chris received his Landscape Architecture degree in 2002 and has been designing and building landscapes for commercial and residential clients in Houston since. Chris married his college sweet heart Katie, and today they are happily settled in Montgomery, where they enjoy cooking and doing wine tastings. Chris spends lots of time driving and flying up and down the US East Coast to spend time with his wife, kids, and their three dogs (soon, hopefully, a parrot), and is a fan of outdoor activities, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and piloting small private planes.
