Situated in the beautiful coastal towns of Southern CaliforniaAliso Viejo, Dana Point, and Laguna Beachthis highlights our ability to create gardens that engage the site and flow with the landscape. Central to this is well-placed topiaries, which take the form of topiary and create a vertical marker in the garden that takes on both a natural and architectural, soft yet material nature. We chose sturdy, quality terra cotta pots to put these topiaries in which not only adds a warm touch but also earthy tone that pairs well with the green tones. Woodsy boxwood and fresh rosemary topiaries add visual interest and tantalizing aromas to the garden box. To prevent the plants we planted from dying, we had to be very careful with our selection, as it was not a typical site in any case, but had its own kind of microclimate, like a big germ tray. Our experienced group of experts determined soil and sun conditions to determine the best plant combinations that would flourish in this location. They planned their topiaries so that all year long they continued to be healthy and lively. The end product is truly beautiful, with the transformed outdoor living area now providing a magical hideaway from the outside world. The clients couldn't be happier how the topiaries and terra cotta pots were integrated with each other and now also serves them as gorgeous visual interest in the entire garden. This not only creates the opportunity for enhancing the appearance of the property through its beautification but also allows a for peaceful retreat. All of the little that come into play when creating one of these masterpieces is what makes Eye of the Day stand out above the rest as the majority of these obstacles are best left unsolved in the most creative ways possible.
