Pergola Patio by Deep Rootz Landscape and Design Deep Rootz Landscape and Design just concluded work on a remarkable Pergola Patio designed to transform a backyard into a beautiful outdoor retreat. Our company serves Albany, Berkeley, Crockett, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Hercules, Martinez, Orinda, Pinole, Richmond, Rodeo, San Pablo, Tara Hills, Moraga, Lafayette, Oakland, Walnut Creek, Concord, and Pleasant Hill, and we were happy to create a functional yet stunning place for the new clients to enjoy with family and friends. Initially, the began with an idea: a multi-functional patio to provide shade, beauty, and ambiance for family gatherings. Our designers chose cedar wood for the pergola frame known for its long-lasting strength and natural resistance to the elements. The pergola was designed to match and enhance the existing landscape while also being a solid design element. While surveying the site, one of the concerns was the site was not perfectly level. Deep Rootz's experienced landscape contractors professionally leveled the ground and added stone for the surface, giving it stability and strong longevity. With attention to outdoor lighting, low-voltage LED lights were also incorporated into the beams of the pergola giving the area charm and inviting atmospherics for evening enjoyment. The patio was completed with a combination of natural stone pavers and decorative gravel finishing the aesthetics of the space with a tasteful elegance and casual feel. Soft landscaping, including flowering plants and lush planting beds, surrounds the patio area and enhances the outdoor living experience while adding privacy. The end result of this was to take the client's backyard from the initial state to a peaceful retreat space for entertaining or relaxing at the end of a long day.
