This includes natural stone walkways and patios, local timber, and vibrant, native plantings, emphasizing an inviting space while incorporating the surrounding landscape. Custom-built reclaimed wood fire pits and seating areas provide a cozy gathering space for family or a quiet evening under the stars. Perhaps the most significant factor we tackled, aside from the steep terrain, was creatively locating the grading to accommodate function and aesthetics. Our team worked carefully through the process by employing eco-conscious erosion control methods and sustainable practices that preserved natural beauty of the site. You can see that the final product is an incredible outdoor space that better serves the home while creating a peaceful retreat for the client. Each detail of the landscaping was curated to create a rustic yet elegant space for the client including a variety of drought-resistant plantings and unique boulders. The client hands downcould not have happier the transformation and noted, more than once, that the space incorporated their lifestyle seamlessly and invited the outdoors into their life as a normal part of it.
