The Secret Garden services the beautiful communities of Bayside, Brown Deer, Cedarburg, Fox Point, Germantown, Glendale, Grafton, Mequon, Milwaukee, River Hills, Thiensville, Whitefish Bay, and Shorewood to create this stunning patio. Every aspect of this was completed with detail, precision and quality craftsmanship. The new patio features top-quality interlocking pavers that are durable and beautiful. We selected a blend of earth tone pavers that tie into the garden and surrounds whilst not making the patio too dark, and not too light; truly adding depth to the overall look and feel of the homeowners landscape. Our design delivered a spacious outdoor entertaining area that included built-in seating, as well as a fire pit that created a cozy setting for socializing with family and friends. As each is different and uniquely yours, there was one challenge we encountered when creating the patio as the backyard slightly sloped downward. Our team was able to utilize grade to ensure that the pavers sat on a safe, stable, level foundation to make sure that drainage was provided and reduce the possibility of any heaving in the long-term. To complete it off, we framed the patio with mature, lush pieces of landscaping which consisted of a mix of native plants, and ornamental grasses. Not only do the plantings elevate the visual aspect of the patio, but they also act as sound and visual barriers that increase the biodiversity of local critters. When all was completed, it created an amazing outdoor oasis that left our clients breathless. Not only is the Paver Patio functional for relaxing and entertaining, it provides enough beauty that keeps people invited, and adds a level of whimsy to the space.
