The Secret Garden - Backyard Landscaping, Patio with Outdoor Kitchen In the heart of Bayside, The Secret Garden has turned an ordinary backyard into an extraordinary outdoor living space. Our , titled 'Backyard Landscape, Patio with Outdoor Kitchen', was intended to enhance the client’s ability to entertain while also blending in with the natural amenity of the area. We began with a thorough site analysis to better understand the specific topography and sun/shade patterns of the site. We tackled the challenges brought on by the existing uneven terrain by leveling it out using a terraced design to add interest, while maximizing usable space in the yard. This layout created a beautiful paver patio made out of durable, weather-resistant materials that matched the existing landscape, and were available in tones of color that honored the surrounding flora. The outdoor kitchen is multi-functional and visually pleasing. All appliances used are high-grade stainless-steel and incorporate custom cabinetry made to fit, and a stone countertop that reflects the natural beauty of the landscape. This creates an environment that inspires cooking while providing the opportunity to dine outdoors all year round. To add to the ambiance, we included soft landscaping around the site consisting of flower beds with burst of color and strategically placed native shrubs for privacy and wildlife. A fire pit with adequate seating provides an attractive area to congregate below the stars, while lighting can be adjusted to provide care-free safety for the night and evening. Bayside and the surrounding areas will benefit from this backyard though social events and social connections which started in the clients backyard. It exceeded the client's expectations by converting a regular backyard into a luxurious and usable entertainment space for them and their guests. The quality and craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that the homeowners love their beautiful new outdoor living space in Whitefish Bay. The Secret Garden continues to serve the communities of Bayside, Brown Deer, Cedarburg, and beyond by designing magical landscapes that inspire enjoyment and connection.
