Woodland Hills Backyard Oasis + Container Garden by Martinson's Garden Works Martinson's Garden Works is proud to unveil one of our most memorable landscaping s to date, the Woodland Hills Backyard Oasis + Container Garden, an outdoor in peaceful Woodland Hills. Serving communities across Brandon, Flowood, Jackson, Madison, Ridgeland, Canton, Clinton and Vicksburg, our design team helped the homeowners transform a previously unused backyard space into a beautiful outdoor oasis. This reflects a harmonious blending of natural materials and modern appeal, using all native plants that flourish in our climate. The centerpiece of the oasis involves a custom-built water feature that adds both visual beauty to the space, and a tranquil ambiance with the sound of the water flowing. Surrounding the water feature, we installed a hand-laid stone patio, providing the homeowners ample space for relaxing and entertaining. The patio uses locally sourced flagstone creating a hard surface that is both durable and beautiful. One of the challenges presented to our landscaping team was the slope of the backyard. To tackle this concern, we installed terraced garden beds to add functionality and visual interest to this space. We planted the raised beds using a diverse selection of perennial plants, ornamental grasses and seasonal flowers for robust color and texture throughout the year. In addition to the primary garden space, we implemented a stylish container garden in a variety of decorative pots to add vertical appeal and flexibility. This area presents the homeo wnwer with endless opportunities to update with seasonal fillings without a full renovation. This resulted in a spectacular outdoor living space that generated joy, inspiration and excitement in our clients. With an emphasis on design and detail, sustainable practices and quality craftmanship, we anticipate this backyard oasis will provide that family a place to relax, socialize and enjoy the beauty of nature for generations to come.
