So, this beautiful walkway was carefully crafted to complement the beauty of the outdoor surroundings while serving as a solid and welcoming pathway for homeowners and visitors. We used reclaimed antique bricks for each brick selected for its unique feature with a rich patina bringing history and beauty to the property. This classic herringbone pattern not only adds to the beauty, but also allows drainage and a stable surface. Nearby walking paths were also included syncing with rich native plantings that line the walkway borders, blending with warm brick tones and encouraging native biodiversity. The involved extensive grading to ensure a level base for a walkway, as one of the main issues was the uneven terrain. By leveraging innovative engineering solutions, our accomplished team was able to work around this obstacle and complete a long-lasting and durable installation. We also noted the existing landscape and retained mature trees and shrubs but added to it with additional landscaping to improve the view. We end up with this gorgeous vintage brick walkway that looks beautiful enhancing the curb appeal of the property and also provides a great functional space to host some gatherings or for a walk around the property! Needless to say, the client was overjoyed at the new look of their home and said the walkway surrounds its home with exactly the charm and character that they wanted.
