Jersey City Garden 2 Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction Group is excited to unveil the Jersey City Garden 2 , a beautiful landscape renovation that highlights our commitment to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Located in the heart of Jersey City, this landscape artistically combines the beauty of nature with a functional space to entertain friends. The design features a spacious outdoor living space with a custom-built stone patio that is made of locally sourced bluestone, providing a great, durable, and elegant base for friends to gather. Nestled around the patio is an assortment of perennial gardens that will bloom throughout the season, and showcase native plants designed to thrive in the local climate and attract pollinators. The site had many challenges, one being the layout of the land being uneven. Our professional staff graded the landscape to provide tiered planting beds to enhance the aesthetic value of the area, as well as provide access to a larger garden without climbing over plants. As an added layer of sustainability, we created a water-efficient irrigation system that provides moisture to the roots, minimizing waste while delivering enough water to maintain this beautiful landscape. The also included a relaxing water feature, that not only adds a focal point to the design, but also introduces a relaxing aspect to the outdoor spacethe sound of running water. The relaxing sound of water adds another dimension to the outdoor space and enriched this urban area with sounds of nature. The final vision from the clients was more than they could ask for; the backyard went from a sterile area into a beautiful landscape oasisunique to the style and preferences of the client. While the quality of the landscape enhanced the curb appeal of the property, it also provided an inviting space for family and friends to enjoy for many years.
