About This Project

Classic Jersey City Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction Group is proud to present the 'Classic Jersey City' , a gorgeous improvement that transformed outdoor living in one of New Jersey's most active urban settings. Serving Hoboken, Montclair, Guttenberg, New York, Union City, North Bergen, Weehawken, West New York, Nutley and Jersey City we brought the vision of elegance and function to this incredible space. The focused on creatively combining traditional hardscape and native planting species. We used quality Bluestone pavers to create a welcoming path that draws visitors through the lush garden bedshome to a variety of sturdy perennials and ornamental grasses that flourish in our climate. A unique challenge of this site was the terrain was uneven, but we were able to create a unified and harmonious flow for the overall space, improving accessibility and aesthetics. To elevate the design, we also included custom built cedar wood seating areas and a serene water feature that was the centerpiece of the garden space. Reclaimed brick accent sets provided character for outdoor spaces and honored Jersey City's intricate architectural history. Additionally, we incorporated drought-tolerant plants to focus on sustainability while constructing year-round seasonal interest to the garden. The results ended up being absolutely beautiful. The client was thrilled with their property and their new outdoor spacewith little nooks for lounging and vibrant spaces for entertaining. Classic Jersey City is a perfect example of our quality craftsmanship and genius designstailored to capture contemporary spirit in urban landscaping while respecting the environment.
