About This Project

New Jersey Residence, Lorax Design Group At Lorax Design Group, we celebrate the outdoor experience and love creating a landscape that captivates. Our recent , New Jersey Residence, exemplifies our values of quality and creativity. Located in the lively community of Kansas City, this endeavor presented us with many challenges to navigate - uneven site, and the homeowners expressed the desire to create a usable outdoor space with multiple seating areas. As a team, we worked closely with the homeowners to create a warm and inviting landscape that integrated into its surroundings. We utilized a wide variety of native plants that would not only thrive with a low maintenance relation but would also provide beauty and interest in all seasons. Locally sourced stone was used for pathways and retaining stone walls to enhance not only the natural beauty of the garden, but its durability as well. To create usability we incorporated an incredible patio space with custom-built seating for the homeowners to gather and entertain guests or simple relaxation - and an outdoor fire pit as a stunning focal point in the evenings. Lighting was also placed throughout the landscape to enhance the natural beauty of the landscape as night fell. As craftsmen, we prioritized our skilled labor force's concerns by employing terraced gardens on steep slopes, which added another level of dimension and design, while providing ease of drainage and plant health. The New Jersey Residence is a great example of our focus on quality of excellence, creativity and customer satisfaction.
