We are a Landscape Architecture & Planning firm in Downtown Overland Park specializing in outdoor spaces for both residential and commercial developments. We take part throughout the process from initial planning, graphic visualization and construction management to project delivery. This includes standard industry software as well as 3D printing of some elements to help define the design. Over 21 years, KurtKraisinger has toured a diverse project list as a design and consulting base for planning and landscape architectural projects across the country. He exited as a managing partner at MKEC Engineering Consultant in Kansas City in June of 2009 to launch LORAX Design Group. It gives him the opportunity to still do what he does best, taking the design skills and passion he developed to create spaces that have meaning and memory for those visiting, so that others have better interactions with their outdoor environments while helping one of the most beautiful ecosystems we have be the best it can be. Kurt is a seasoned backgrounder in the field where his professional interests have involved private homes, large master-planned residential communities, corporate office campuses, commercial retail centers, entertainment districts and mixed-use development projects.
