Buckhead High-Rise The Buckhead High-Rise , executed by Planters, is a great example of the intersection of urban sophistication and nature. Located in Buckhead, Atlanta, this included converting the rooftop and surrounding area of an upscale high-rise into a spectacular landscape oasis. Our team took on the unique challenge of trying to maximize a small footprint while ensuring the design matched with the modern architecture of the building. A pallet of drought tolerant plants, including ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials, was chosen to create a dynamic, low-maintenance atmosphere. Quality materials, including natural stone pathways and a sustainable wood deck, would increase the visual appeal of the while providing resilience to the elements. To combat the urban heat island effect, we included green walls and native trees that would provide shade and improve air quality in the space. Every detail was planned and executed flawlessly, creating inviting community spaces, with charming seating options, fire pits, lush planters, and plant beds. The end result is a stunning oasis that brings smiles to residents, plenty of visitors, and encourages interactions in the community. The embodies Planters' commitment to quality experience and innovative designs, representing an important part of the Buckhead skyline.
