About This Project

'PERGOLAS' by The Garden District Located within the lively neighborhoods of Miami and the surrounding communities, we at The Garden District were thrilled to recently complete the 'PERGOLAS' that transformed our clients' outdoor living space. The features a custom-built wooden pergola that is the focal point of a lovely backyard garden that enhances the beauty and use of outdoor living. The craftsmen at The Garden District used high-quality cedar wood products to create the pergola to both provide shade and create an inviting place to sit and entertain. The eye-catching delicate curve of the pergola's beams enhance the original charm of the structure. To provide additional night time use of the space, adjustable LED lighting was placed within appealing places of the wood structure. Death and rollercoaster were challenges we overcame in the 's design and construction. The well conceived grading of the backyard required adjustable components to level the structure according to the clients' property that provided a sound foundation. To perform a smooth transition from the structure to the garden, we made the transitions seamless. Part of the 's successful completion also meant to take addition of greenery beyond the structure. We incorporated a stunning array of native plants and ornamental grasses throughout the garden that are well suited for the existing weather patterns. Additionally, we created a stone path through the garden to provide easy access to their new seating area under the new structure. The offers a great example how structure and nature can coexist it's use and a reflection of both the clients' vision and love for the outdoors. Our clients could not have been more thankful to have an oasis to enjoy the property for family gatherings or as a quiet place to enjoy an evening under the stars. The 'PERGOLAS' takes its place as another example of successful craftsmanship and service by The Garden District to enhance outdoor living in the heart of South Florida.
