Backyard Entertaining from Sherwood Landscape Lighting and Design At Sherwood Landscape Lighting and Design, we take great pride in making ordinary spaces extraordinary backyard retreats. As our last , Backyard Entertaining, demonstrates, this is one of our driving values and nonetheless, a proud feeling for us in Moorestown. The was redeveloped as a completely underused current backyard into a beautiful entertaining oasis. The overall design featured a multi-tiered patio of high-quality Belgard pavers for durability and beauty, to bring added enjoyment to the client entertaining their guests. Also included was the fire pit placement as a sleek, built-in structure and surrounded by custom seating to create a cozy 'entertaining area' for evening gatherings. An outdoor kitchen was also included for even more entertaining use, with grill, refrigerator, and counter area for not only the grill area, again with beautiful, natural stonework touching the landscaping area to help visually tie it all together while keeping the environment, and the design, more functional for our daylight entertainment guests. The addition of lush native plantings with flower beds, that are accentuated with colorful vegetation and designed for local wildlife habitat, for food and beauty, all tie it into the landscape while adding to the sustainability as an ecosystem. One of the noteworthy complexities was the limited area for the backyard and the additional elevation levels. Our team responded with adding terraced garden beds and incorporating a retaining wall that helped to maximize the backyard's space while actually adding beauty and function as visually-appealing design elements. The whole was elevated further with our landscape lighting. Our team of professionals carefully installed beautiful landscape light fixtures to capture those nightly features to light the path and the home enjoyment well into the evening. The final product was a magnificent backyard that was a big hit with our client, giving them an amazing backyard entertaining area for family and friends. Their enjoyment of the area was a perfect blend of high-quality and well-crafted, functional, aesthetic outdoor entertaining areas that had made their backyard entertaining space an extension of their home and was used with friends and family for many years to come.
