This was one of those designs that was such a well-done quality for us, we had to show it off to the rest of the Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland, Montclair and other local areas. At the heart of it is a perfectly crafted guest room, bringing in the best of indoor and outdoor living. Made from sustainably harvested cedar, the guest room also has big windows with a view that overlooks the surrounding greenery, welcoming in lots of natural light. Next to the guest room, a contemporary pool house with a stylish lounge, kitchenette, and bath offers an ideal space for relaxing and entertaining. A whopping, and low maintenance, composite deck surrounds the pool. We added an eyecatching infinity-edge pool to provide functionality plus beauty and serenity that is in sync with the beautiful surroundings. We immediately set to work installing a combination of native drought-tolerant plants that thrive in the Bay Area climate, providing for a sustainable but colorful and diverse environment around the pool. The national park was a that we faced challenges with along the way, particularly the terrain with many holes and bad drainage in some places. We used many innovative landscaping practices including terracing and grading to facilitate the flow of water and improve the topography. This foresight not just alleviated any flooding issues but made a clear definition of different levels which adds interest to the external areas. The end product is a stunning outdoor living space that fulfilled the expectations of our customer with a dream of an outdoor getaway. This represents DVA Consulting and Design's strong commitment to blending functional living areas with nature as well as it-it not-it's also serving the community of Oakland, Vallejo, Napa, and the surrounding areas. Not only does our work increase property value, but it also gives our clients the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor spaces year-round, adding a whole new lifestyle to the mix.
