Natural Stone Hardscaped Driveway by True North Landscaping True North Landscaping is excited to showcase our most recent , a 'Natural Stone Hardscaped Driveway,' completed in the lively community of Indianapolis. The driveway successfully combines a functional and beautiful element to our client's entry to their home. We used quality, natural stone materials to create a long-lasting surface, capable of withstanding the ever-changing Indiana weather. We selected a combination of flagstone and cobblestone sourced locally, which should hold up to our Indiana conditions. The pattern and colors of the stone added to the visual appearance of the driveway, while also blending beautifully into the surrounding landscape. A significant challenge we faced was the slope of the property. We had to be mindful in grading the driveway for proper drainage, in order to prevent any pooling of water. To provide the desired slope we utilized deposited techniques to create a subtle elevation that would still be useful and an attractive piece. We also included permeable pavers to help with prolonged rain water management, the rain will absorb into the stone and enrich the local landscape. The outcome was visually stunning and far exceeded our client's expectations, allowing their visitors to enjoy the curb appeal while also being a usable vehicle entrance. Natural stone also adds increasing value to the overall landscape design for longevity and maintenance year after year. This illustrates True North Landscaping attention to detail, craftsmanship and accessibility to their clients.
