ECLECTIC | THE LEGENDS FineLines Design Studio is excited to present 'ECLECTIC | THE LEGENDS,' a stunning renovation to redefine outdoor living for our clients in the heart of Dallas. The grand landscape encompassed a seamless collaboration of styles and cultures with a balance of modern and lasting classic style. At over 5,000 sq ft., the design program incorporated a sophisticated suite of hardscaping elements, including custom stone pathways, a multi-tiered water feature, and an outdoor kitchen of durable bluestone and cedar materials. The stone and wood selections were made carefully for their aesthetic and functional qualities to weather the Texas climate. One of the major design challenges was to intelligently define unique spaces within the large landscape area. FineLines used natural boulders and plantings to both separate relaxing spaces, outdoor entertaining, and the vegetable garden zones. Plantings consisted of hardy, native Texas plants like the Bluebonnet and various Texas Sage varieties, which added to the biodiversity and helped maintain the landscape for the homeowners. Lastly, we were able to design a landscape that is pleasing to the senses. Client's are now able to enjoy relaxing evenings by the fire pit, entertaining family and friends around the outdoor kitchen, and privately listening to the sound of water over coffee and tea in the mornings. 'ECLECTIC | THE LEGENDS' demonstrates the quality of craft and our design thinking at FineLines Design Studio and that our work is just as diverse in the neighborhoods from Carrollton to Flower Mound.
