• The Scotland-Inspired Garden by Kinghorn Gardens The 'Scotland Inspired Garden' by Kinghorn Gardens, is a stunning locality based in Omaha which feels like a place to be in the lush, green grass of Scotland. So, after serving Bellevue, Bennington, Boys Town and surrounding areas, our team created a magical outdoor oasis that captures the rustic nature and beauty of Scotland. In this , native plants have been mixed with traditional Scottish plants such as heather, ferns and ornamental grasses, to give a tapestry of colour and texture across the seasons. Our talented craftsmen crafted natural stone pathways, similar to those found in Scotland thousands of years ago, which meander through and invites you to explore the garden. Reclaimed granite boulders not only make a statement but also utilize natural resources with little to no impact on the environment. The one thing that really dogged us was the local climate being able to plant things in the first place, so we had to plan a lot and pick the right plants that would endure all year. We solved this by installation of an irrigation network that guarantees each plant receives sufficient moisture, facilitating growth and sustainability. We also created a small seating area featuring custom, weather-resistant benches perfect for enjoying a lazy afternoon surrounded by nature. The outcome of these endeavours was an exquisite garden area that satisfied the client and their family. The Scotland Inspired Garden is a reflection of Kinghorn Gardens values in quality craftsmanship, where a specialty water feature custom designed and built to create a serene sound to the landscape, can be heard throughout. Without a doubt a pretty impressive improvement, by providing not only a visual treat for the property but also serving as a peaceful getaway to connect our clients with the beauty of Scotland, right in their garden. One of this pocket of earth has been a true showstopper and testament to our love for turning any area in to a little piece of paradise for all lucky enough to step in to this garden marvel.
