The prominent garden showcases transitional and modern elements blended with traditional landscaping in a big outdoor area that created a welcoming and elegant garden to fit the estate. The thus included many native and ornamental plantings focused on year-round interest along with sustainability. A stone path made with locally sourced bluestone passes through beautiful gardens and leads guests to multiple focal points, including an exquisite water feature and a custom-designed fire pit area. The utilized high-quality and durable materials including natural cedar for the pergolas and premium pavers for the patio. The overall character of the home is further enhanced through the careful color palette chosen for plantings and materials and creates an expansive outdoor living space that had a transitional style. One challenge the faced was grading the site and deciding how best to add other immersive features requested by the clients, while connecting it to the home. The team was careful to add some sort of natural stone to the grading needed for surrounding walls in a way that was not only functional, but it was also attractive and added more depth and visual interest to the design, addressing an existing slope. The final product is a luxe outdoor escape that reflects clients expectations of sophistication and comfort. With a considered blend of beauty and function, the landscaping has become a family and entertaining space.
