About This Project

Wash Park #2 From Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design; the Wash Park #2 is a gorgeous transformation located in downtown Steamboat Springs. This created a landscape as a joint effort to beautify and create an outdoor space to keep a community space vibrant for Yampa Valley and Routt County. The was a contemporary blend of native plantings, hardscaping, and sustainable practices. Using powder-coated concrete sanded down paths to allow natural stone to settle in over time, we resort to high-quality, organically harvested materials, both functional and resistant to decay. The biggest obstacle was the slope of the block. To provide a level base and to address water management issues, our skilled team designed strategic grading and drainage solutions. Not only did this create a more visually appealing flow, but it helped to keep the plants moist without the threat of erosion. The focal point around which Wash Park #2 is designed is a welcoming space to gather outdoors, and it features a custom fire pit sheltered by a floating concrete slab, surrounded by seating and softened by plant material. Adaptable, colourful bloomsSuccessional showy perennials and ornamental grasses that provide resilience and interest towards each season were incorporated into the design palette to create a colourful tapestry that shifts with the seasons. The end product is a seamless landscape that meets the intended goals of the client while truly being of the Routt County landscape. With no other individual in our house, this outdoor area has become a peaceful oasis, so the client and his relatives can relax in the luxury of nature, all because of our quality workmanship and detail orientation. Wash Park #2 is another example of how Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design has combined imagination with practicality, and titled a landscape masterpiece in Steamboat Springs.
