A harmonious combination of natural setting and functional design, this exquisite property is the result of our client's desire. We set our work with the aid of our talented team and started with an enticing entrance walk using local flagstone that integrates with the natural slope of the land. The path glides between beautifully arranged native plantings to display colors of various seasonal flowers aimed at attracting the local wildlife and homeowners alike. Solution 1: Utilize Fluid in Crafting the ProductOne of the biggest challenges we encountered was sloped ground where better drainage was asked for needs to make it bearable on the slopes in order to achieve proper flow and fluid that does not want to walk.Scale of effort: High effort We built a neat series of terraced garden beds using durable, weather-resistant materials to create an attractive design that maximizes usable space. Perennials and ornamental grasses fill each terrace for four-season interest and low-maintenance. Additionally, we built a natural boulder fire pit area with surround seating to enrich the outdoor living experience. The landscape here not only sets the scene, but functions as an extension of the home with the inviting areas that are ideal for family and friends to gather. The end result: a Colorado landscape that looks like what it is and that thrives, both artistically and as a memorable outdoor place of comfort. Our client was excited by this transformation and the fact that our design turned out better than they imagined.
