Outdoor Landscaping by Raimondi Hort Grp | The Little Flower Shoppe In our most recent , Outdoor Landscaping, we took a fairly typical outdoor space and made it into an absolutely beautiful outdoor oasis for a home in Ridgewood. We constructed an entire landscape plan that included a wonderful planting scheme, beautiful stone walkways, and a tranquil water feature that fits the natural typography of the area. This all began with a thoroughly detailed client consultation. This helped us to better understand the client, their preferences, and vision for their outdoor area. The client was interested in local, indigenous plants to help the sustainability of their garden, manage ongoing maintenance, and integrate their garden landscape into the overall environment while meeting City regulations. The beautiful indigenous planting scheme employed various types of plants that thrive in the local weather conditions. In ensuring sustainability and integrating with the property ongoing appearance, we also used various high scapable materials, such as locally sourced flagstone for walkways and a durable bio mulch type that was made from a variety of products. This also aided in plant health, as the high quality materials used contributed to overall soil health. Of course, the property had its challenges. The biggest challenge of completing this was the slope of the property. Our skilled landscapers were able to grade the area to create a seamless transition from area to area while ensuring that the grade was also crafted in a way that allowed for proper drainage and not pool any water. To help along with the of watering the plants in, we integrated a drip irrigation system to help conserve water usage, while still watering the property to keep the garden lush and healthy. The end product was stunning! A vibrant collection of flowering plants, shrubs and ornamental grasses were now placed at the entry of our garden, inviting guests into this beautifully perfected space! There was also the tranquil water feature, complete with aquatic plants and muted lighting, which creates a place of comfort, rest and relax or entertain. We have it fully equipped to safely entertain guests! Overall, our client loved the outcome of the work we completed on this ; they loved our attention to detail throughout the and after! The work completed not only improved curbside appeal with their property, but also made it easier to evoke a welcoming comfort that made their style fit perfectly around their landscape.
