Moss Walls by Raimondi Hort Grp | The Little Flower Shoppe Located in the lively Elmwood Park/Fair Lawn community and beyond, the 'Moss Walls" by Raimondi Hort Grp | The Little Flower Shoppe redefined the meaning of vertical landscaping. This concept blends urban living with nature, taking walls from plain to lush, rich backdrops. The featured a customized moss wall that utilized many types of preserved moss species. Every element was chosen with care to ensure a rich tapestry of textures and shades, which resulted in a visual feast that created a tranquil space. Our experienced team had the challenge of monitoring and maintaining moisture levels and sunlight exposure and reconciled the association of caring for a living installation with the site's unique context. We elevated the humidity levels with advanced irrigation systems to ensure the wall would thrive. We wanted to make sure the wall would add vitality throughout the seasonal changes. We engaged the client in every part of the processwe listened to their ideas and preferences, and we incorporated them into a stunning accent wall that added beauty to the space with the bonus of ecological benefits like improving air quality and reducing noise. When the was completed, the moss wall was stunning, provided a perfect anchor for the rest of the architecture, and received a wonderful reaction from the visitors and surrounding community.
