About This Project

Hilltop Oasis Located in the beautiful elevated area of Tulsa, Hilltop Oasis, designed by Szafranski Landscape Architecture, is a great example of smart design and quality craftsmanship. This clearly demonstrates our ability to create spaces for people such as our clients throughout Bixby, Broken Arrow, Glenpool, Jenks, and the surrounding area to relax and unwind in their own private oasis. The hallmark of Hilltop Oasis is multi-layered terraces that blend beautifully with the natural topography. We selected native stone slabs and locally-sourced granite, to promote a rhythm that blends into the landscape. The gently winding path back to the property invites guests to experience large garden beds with varying layers of perennial plants and flowering shrubs, all selected for visual interest at all times of the year. One of the challenges we encountered was the steep slope on the property. To solve this issue while taking an aesthetics approach, we created an innovative drainage system that would not only minimize erosion but provide far more moisture to the surrounding plants of our clients' landscape. To aid in relaxation, we introduced a water feature that includes a waterfall flowing into a koi pond. This beautiful water feature is a lovely accent, as well as a relaxing sound to meditate by. Materials selected for property includes eco-friendly mulch and drought-resistant plants to create a low maintenance garden-setting. The final product was a very beautiful Hilltop Oasis that our clients were very proud to call their own entertaining area and peace place amidst the grace of nature taking full advantage of all the beauty and experience an oasis can provide.
