Hardscape/Landscape Design and Construction - Kalamazoo, MI Platinum Ponds & Landscaping completed a stunning landscaping/hardscaping in Kalamazoo, MI. This was designed to improve aesthetics and functionality, creating a calm oasis that fits with the existing landscape. We created a layered landscape with native plantings, color-filled flowerbeds, and greenery for sustainability and reduced maintenance. Durable natural stone and elegant pavers made for excellent, durable walkways, patios, and retaining walls that fit into the landscape. Permeable pavers were used to help with water management while also adding elegance and sophistication. The only major complication involved the uneven terrain of the property. Our landscape architects navigated this by building terraces into the design, creating focal points and maximizing the space for use. Drainage was also built into the design for managing water-flow and the prevention of erosion. This will help to prolong the landscape and hardscape installations. The wrapped us with a spectacular outdoor living area that had a custom fire pit, with ample seating for friends and family. We took pride in the and workmanship it took to stage the installation to help reflect our clients vision. Our clients were ecstatic with the process and final product, they now have a stunningly landscaped space that improved their outdoor living, thus demonstrating that a balance of creativity and functionality can transform the space.
