About This Project

Scope: Sandy Springs Renovation: New Patio by SHM Landscape Located in the heart of Sandy Springs, the 'Sandy Springs Patio Renovation' by SHM Landscape represents outdoor beauty and function. Our crew successfully transformed a simple backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space, where elegance and function blend seamlessly together. The scope of the renovation included a large patio that was constructed of durable, high-quality pavers, known for their beauty and durability. We also designed stone pathways to a flowerbed of native plants and flowers, which minimized maintenance, but provided color all year long. An outdoor custom designed fire pit was built with surrounding seating, to provide a cozy outdoor venue that could comfortably host family gatherings and casual get-togethers with friends. One of the greatest challenges we faced was the slope of the terrain of the yard. Our landscaping experience was evident, specifically with how to level the landscape in order to grade the patio properly. Grading is an important and necessary part of landscape architecture, specifically to promote drainage and develop a space that encourages greater longevity. A lighting component was also included, which would highlight the beautiful foliage of the patio, and the beautiful accent features we designed to provide a magical look and feel once the sun goes down. The final result was an amazing transformation of this client's yard that well surpassed their expectations. The patio was designed to be a beautiful expansion of the home, where the comforts of the indoors transitioned into a space of unique outdoor environments. Because of the attention to detail, and quality workmanship, SHM Landscape was able to build a vibrant and inviting patio space that our client can still enjoy today. The patio is not only an enhancement of outdoor living, but has added value to the property and in turn reinforces our reputation as one of the leading landscaping companies in not only Sandy Springs but the surrounding communities as well.
