Niko Dais × Sazuka Ryu Yoshida ON TV SHOW Special x2011 ALE: A Timeless Garden The PA Landscape & Nursery Association, an organization of the highest esteem, completed the ' x2011 ALE: A Timeless Garden ' which perfectly showcases nature's art. Located in central Pennsylvania, this transformation turns the landscape into a beautiful dream of elements that entice and offer a breath of fresh, open-air escape. Close to the heart of the is a gorgeous array of native plants and their habit, offering sustainable elements while increasing biodiversity. Pathway and retaining walls are made with locally sourced stone giving a rustic feel and complementing the aesthetic of the surrounding nature. We developed sinuous paths winding walkers through planted garden beds, each strategically filled with perennials that offer up year-long color. A major obstacle to overcome was the site's uneven topography which needed creative grading solutions. Instead, our talented landscapers used dynamic strategies and created tiered planting zones to increase drainage and visual appeal. This intentional design enabled the placement of a serene pond with a waterfall for both visual and sonic interest. The garden is also made more functional with the addition of a custom pergola covered in climbing vines for shade and relaxation or to gather with friends. The garden is illuminated at night with quality outdoor lighting that not only delivers a beautiful glow to the entire space, but was equally as careful with its settings so as not to wash out the surrounding area. All these efforts led to an amazing outdoor retreat that the client loved.
