z2009 Monini-Degiovanni Residence This creative work of landscape architecture and landscaping is a creation by the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association: thez2009 Monini-Degiovanni Residence; recognition high every year. This residential landscape transformation in the heart of Pennsylvania is a combination of design and construct to meet the needs and wants of the homeowners. The included a carefully designed layout that showcased native plant species, ornamental trees, and flower beds that provided color all year round. Natural stone pathways and eco friendly decking are durable as well as harmonizes in a better way with the environment. The main difficulty encountered during the process of the was the uneven landscape surrounding the House. They carefully executed a tiered garden plan using retaining walls of locally obtained rock, creating not only slopes that were hard to walk on, but also the steps that invite visitors to changes in level in the garden itself. This not only solved the topography issue, but also brought a beautiful touch to the yard. The other major component of the was water management. A new drainage system and rain garden allows for runoff while retaining the landscape and promoting sustainability. In Pennsylvania where weather can often be unpredictable, this feature was especially key and showed the team was dedicated to sustainable municipal landscaping. The end result is a stunning outdoor oasis that embraces and complements the natural surroundings while offering the Monini-Degiovanni family a peaceful escape to unwind and entertain. Mature trees, colorful perennials, and seating areas make it feel like a garden you would want to linger in and enjoy, which is very much the hope of the residents and their guests. Through quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices, the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association has transformed the z2009 Monini-Degiovanni Residence into a functional yet beautiful landscape, sure to please the family for years to come.
