Designs by SHM Landscape At SHM Landscape, we are proud to present "Designs," an amazing that transformed outdoor living spaces for a discerning client in the heart of North Atlanta. Serving clients across Alpharetta, Atlanta, Brookhaven, and beyond, we relished the unique challenges of the with ingenuity and professionalism. The began with an extensive site analysis to identify opportunities to enhance the site's existing topography and vegetation. Our design transformed the property to create a high-quality outdoor living area consisting of custom stone patios, a gently flowing water feature, and beds of colorful flowers that bloom continuously throughout the year. We chose durable native plants and locally harvested flagstone to ensure the long-term sustainability of the . One idiosyncratic challenge presented was the steep topography and laying the most effective design elements, which elevated the main patio areas. Our team of professionals constructed a multi-level landscape that creatively utilized retaining walls to structurally support cantilevered garden spaces while adding visual drama. Knowing the client would be investment their livelihood into the landscape, we developed a sophisticated irrigation system designed to maximize efficiencies for the existing climate conditions. Ultimately, we created an incredibly beautiful outdoor space that genuinely fused function with beauty. The patios provided a stark contrast to the previous space and were designed as social spaces for family and guests, while the gardens provided private peaceful oasis. The client was thrilled with the results and indicated that the new landscape provided another level of experiences around their home, while also increasing the value of their property.
