Revised Title: New Build The Corner Before & After Garden Designs by Jacqueline, LLC. is thrilled to announce the release of the landscape renovation , "New Build The Corner Before/After," featuring our passion for practical excellence in every community we serve, from Chicopee to East Longmeadow to Granby to Hampden and everywhere in between. The ideas for this started on a clean slate; the property was a new build with good bones, but needed a design that would bring warmth and curb appeal. These clients wanted an inviting outdoor area for their modern Australian home that would provide a quiet sanctuary. We carefully designed the layout of our space to create separate areas for relaxing and separate areas for entertaining. We used quality materials, such as local stone paths that guide visitors gracefully through the garden. Native plants were used for low maintenance and seasonal interest, and ornamental grasses were selected to provide texture and movement in front of shrub masses. Site drainage around such a slope could be a problem, but we included a bioretention area that handled runoff and became a beautiful highlight with these perennials bursting with color. The end result is simply gorgeous. The erstwhile dead zone is now a verdant display of blossom and life, with a places to settle down with flowering shrubs and a bubbling water feature to soothe the soul. The clients were delighted with the result, stating that the new garden had increased their property value and given them a lovely space to relax. Garden Designs by Jacqueline, LLC.
