This landscape was designed and built for our client to add to the greenery and functionality in the area near their pool, in the culturally rich communities of Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Granby, Hampden, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Monson Center, North Chicopee, Palmer, South Hadley, Springfield, Thorndike, Three Rivers and Wilbraham. Our commenced with an in-depth consultation and listening to our client who wanted a bright and friendly atmosphere. We chose a range of annual and perennial plants that would bring together color and texture to show off all the seasons of the year. Standout features included dramatic daylilies and hap-happy petunias with lush ornamental grasses and bright marigolds. We also used high-quality natural stone borders to help add a touch of elegance, but also keep the soils in place to provide adequate drainage o facilitate our sustainable design. The pool area had different incidence of sunlight, so one of the challenges we had to face was there. You can also offset one by planting shade-tolerant next to sun-loving plants so that weather changes affect less of your landscape, as we did. Using organic compost the planting beds were prepared for healthy growth. In the end, a beautifully unified garden emerges that integrates beautifully with the pool area, creating a beautiful backdrop for relaxing and entertaining. Planting trees and flowers splash color, aroma, and lushness that are pleasing to the eye and also create a small retreat for family and friends to experience. The client was thrilled with the new lookout and cannot wait to spend time enjoying their outdoor space!
