The talented team at SHM Landscape carefully planned and executed a design that incorporated native plant selections, an impressive stone patio, and a custom fire pit for the occasional chilly Georgia night. We selected high-quality, long-lasting materials, such as natural flagstone and local hardwoods, to provide a feature the homeowner could enjoy for years while blending in the existing landscape. One of the main challenges in the Dunwoody Backyard Renovation was working with an uneven landscape. Our team expertly graded the area to achieve a level surface to accommodate the design of the patio to achieve proper drainage to mitigate standing water. We also incorporated a tiered landscaped garden to both provide interest as well as square footage to accommodate seasonal blooms.
