Hunter's Point | Landsburg Landscape Nursery At the stunning Hunter's Point in Nisswa, Minn., the artistry of Landsburg Landscape Nursery shines through the craftsmanship. Our team started this ambitious with the vision of creating a harmonious blend of nature and design, serving the communities of Baxter, Brainerd, Crosby, Deerwood, Fort Ripley, Ironton, Jenkins Merrifield, Riverton, and Cross Lake. The included a large outdoor living area with a gorgeous locally-sourced flagstone patio. Not only does this material add to the beauty of your space but it is also strong enough to deal with the elements for a longer time. The dynamic configuration of the patio was purposely designed to create more than one seating area, for both intimate meetings and family events. We included a custom water feature that flows into a pond along with native plants that draw local wildlife, helping to create a sense of calm. Sustainable practices were used to incorporate the native flora as well, promoting biodiversity while also reducing the amount of water needed to maintain them. Our landscape architects chose colorful, perennial, ornamental grasses, and shrubbery, that will give visual interest at all times of year → maintaining Hunter’s Point as a visual treat year-round. The first major obstacle we had to overcome for the was all of the slope, which necessitated creative grading and drainage to ensure water does not erode and wash soil away. The team intelligently created a layered garden that went on to alleviate these issues while also provide layers and depth to the landscape. The end product is a stunning outdoor retreat where the homeowner can relax in the garden and experience nature. All those spaces together, paired with beautiful hardscaping and greenery, definitely made Hunter's Point a holy place. Pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail, the client now enjoys a landscape that represents their style while taking advantage of our beautiful natural surroundings.
