Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. is pleased to showcase the 'Walkways & Patio' which dramatically transformed this site located at the center of the beautiful community in which we serve, such as Greenwich, Darien and Westport. This was designed for as much function and comfort as it is beauty while ensuring the creation of an outdoor space that seamlessly flows within its natural surroundings. The features walkways, purposefully designed to allow guests to meander through the beautifully landscaped gardens using bluestone and pavers (high-quality, durable, and stunning) for an elegant look. Each path was designed for safe and efficient pedestrian circulation as the materials were precisely chosen for their ability to blend into the existing landscape. Central to the is a beautiful and expansive patio that can be used for entertaining or simply relaxing after a long day. Not only is the patio spacious when constructed with full-slabs of granite, but it also provides a heavy look that can weather nature and take some work out of the maintenance for upkeep over the years. Built in seating areas and a custom fire pit within the terrace design help to create entertaining and gathering spaces for all seasons. The Bolton team of landscape architects and design professionals faced a couple of conditions such as a significantly sloped terrace and drainage issues which were resolved by grading the grounds and creating a hidden drainage system. The outcountry result achieved is not just beautiful space but one that is fully functional and maximizes the objectives suggested by the client for space transformation. The result excited the clients who now have an opportunity to regain their outdoor space with a great combination of beauty and comfort.
